Inspector York and his partner, Quentin Conners, were not particularly lucky on the day they started their service. It was a rainy night when they were detained, they had to cross the line of the law, York accidentally kills a girl who became a hostage of a criminal, who in turn is shot by Quentin. It was the death of the hostage that became widely covered in newspapers, reproaching the police for incompetent actions and too cruel actions. After such an unpleasant incident, the management had to temporarily suspend the police from their duties. A little time passes, an armed robbery takes place in one of the city banks, during which people were captured. A complex and complicated case strongly unites employees, they begin to respect each other and help in everything that allows them to enter a new stage of the investigation.
